People who carry out Mexican film productions will have the right to a reduction of 80% in relation to the fees referred to in Article 269, subsections c) and e) of the Federal District Tax Code.  

The documents that the users must submit to obtain a certificate to prove that their production is 100% Mexican, according to guideline FOUR of the resolution that validates the guidelines to be met by the taxpayers to get the reduction provided by Article 287 of the Federal District Tax Code, are the following:

          FOUR.-In order to get the certificate, the interested parties must comply the following:

I. Submit only once, duly completed and signed by the interested party or legal representative, the certificate application form, at the legal department of the Commission*, addressed at Venustiano Carranza No. 2, Colonia Centro, Delegación Cuauhtémoc, C.P. 06000, Monday through Friday, from 09:00 AM to 6:00 PM

II. Submit the Registration Card granted by the Head Office, as well as having their registration number and updated file.

III.Their film production must be 100% Mexican, for such purpose they must submit, in original and copy for their comparison, the following documents:

  

1.-Enrollment Certificate in the Public Registry of Intellectual Property of the script to be developed..

2.-Production work plan.

3.-Fact sheet of the script to be developed.

4.-Contract(s) or agreement(s) entered into with union(s).

5.-When appropriate, power of attorney signed by the legal representative of the company, as well as the grantor, the acceptor and two witnesses (only the original).

6.-When appropriate, official ID of the people signing the power of attorney.
